David Cohen is retired from the Mountain Brook Fire Department where he most recently served as the Fire Marshal. David received his paramedic certification in 1978, an Associates Degree in Fire Science from Jefferson State Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Allied Health Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University. David is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Education in Community Care & Counseling – Traumatology at Liberty University. He is also a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program.

David retired from the Alabama Air National Guard in 1995 after serving 22 years as an Avionics Technician. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and a Licensed Pastor of FCF Ministries International, an evangelistic and world-wide missions organization, and is certified as a Mental Health Coach by the American Association of Christian Counselors.

David has been married to his wife Teresa for over 38 years. David and Teresa have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandsons.
